Summer Updates

National Scrapbooking Day was a huge success and a lot of fun!  We hope the sunshine you have provided to all the children is also over you.  Our continued gratitude goes out to all who came to our scrapbooking fundraisers.  You helped make it possible for our Vacation Bible School to be free to all children.  No child will have to pay to learn about Jesus for the second year in a row!  Thank you!!!

Our next fundraiser will be on Saturday, November 13, 2010.  You may crop from 10:00 – 6:00 for $25 with breakfast and lunch or 10:00 – 10:00 for $35 with dinner added.  We have already started to pick some great raffle prizes and look forward to cropping all these fabulous memories with you!

We want to extend a warm welcome to attend or take a peek at our VBS.  Come see what you made possible, it is amazing.  St. James Lutheran’s Vacation Bible School is July 19 – 23, 2010.  Please click on the link on our homepage for all the exciting details and/orFREE  registration.

The time to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day is almost upon us!  Hard to believe April is here, and May is waiting on the other side of the door.  May 1st will be our last fundraiser for our 2010 Vacation Bible School.  We have almost hit our goal and have started planning for all the VBS festivities. 

There are a lot of surprises for the May 1st fundraiser.  We have so many prizes, raffles (Including a weekend package!), games and more.  We hope you are able to join us.  There are limited spots available for 10-6 with lunch and breakfast for $25 or 10-10 with breakfast, lunch & dinner for $35.  You can register online (see the last blog for directions) or mail in your registration.

Although May seems far away, don’t press your luck and wait to register.  We have met so many amazing croppers and the list keeps growing.  Our last two fundraisers have filled up.  We don’t want to turn anyone away but we have promised to keep our great space and atmosphere as our thank you to all of you who keep supporting us! 

We have many exciting games, giveaways and raffles planned for National Scrapbooking Day on May 1st.  You can come and crop from 10:00 – 6:00 for $25 and have breakfast and lunch.  Or if you need more time for an extra $10 you can stay until 10pm and we’ll feed you dinner too!  You can mail in your registration or register online. Thank you to everyone who came & supported our January Scrapbooking Fundraiser.  It was a huge success and we had every seat filled!  It is just amazing how many fabulous croppers there are!  We really appreciate you supporting our fundraising efforts, so that no child will have to pay to learn about Jesus.

Happy New Year!

2010 sounds so far in the future.  I laugh because my children think the 1980’s are the “olden days!”  Well here is to another year of memories and time to preserve them.  Our January 30th fundraising crop is filling up.  With each registration that rolls in I have to smile at all the amazing people that support us.  Because of you no child had to pay to learn about Jesus at the 2009 Vacation Bible School and we are on our way  for the 2010 VBS!

Remember you can count on us, we are like the postman, our fundraiser will go on through ”rain, sleet or snow.”

Thank you to all who have stuck with us and continued to support our fundraisers.  It is hard to believe that the Christmas Season is upon us.  Through all the hustle and bustle we have had so many people sign up for our January Scrapbooking Fundraiser.  Thank you!  For those of you with us last January, you know we will have the crop even in snowy weather.   But we couldn’t think of a better way to spend a snowy day than in such great company!

Wow!  Thank you to all who came and supported our November 14th scrapbooking fundraiser.  We filled every spot and had a great time.  We appreciate all who have helped us in our mission to make sure no child has to pay to learn about Jesus. 

Mark your calendar for our next scrapbooking fundraiser on January 30th.  Even if you are not a scrapbooker but do cards, knit, bead… you are more than welcome to reserve your spot and enjoy the food, fun and friends.
